The parking permit shall be placed on the inside of the lower left corner (driver's side) of the front windshield of the vehicle and the permit shall not be effective unless so placed. Permits issued with a sticker must continue to display the sticker until the permit is renewed as a virtual permit. Once the permit is renewed as a virtual permit, or if a new virtual permit is issued, nothing will be required to be posted on the vehicle. A permit to park overnight by the provisions of the foregoing sections of this chapter does not authorize parking that is otherwise prohibited by state law or municipal regulation.
