§ 150.20 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   A permit shall be obtained before beginning construction, alteration, repair, or demolition of any building or structure the cost of which exceeds $1,000 using forms furnished by the Building Commissioner, and all fees required by this chapter shall be paid to the city. A permit for demolition shall expire 30 days from date of issuance; all other permits issued under this section shall expire within one year from date of issuance. Once expired, the permit required herein must be reissued after inspection by the Building Commissioner, and the reissued permit shall have a limited time within which to complete the project as determined by the Building Commissioner.
   (B)   All permits for beginning construction, alteration, repair, or demolition of any building or structure issued prior to the enactment of Ordinance No. 1366, November 18, 1996, shall expire one year from the date of publication of this chapter.
