§ 90.046 EMERGENCY DISPOSITION OF SERIOUSLY INJURED ANIMALS.
   In the event an animal is seriously injured in an accident and the ACO or city police officer is unable to ascertain the ownership or are unable to locate the owner within a reasonable amount of time immediately following such accident, said officer may, at his or her discretion, destroy such animal without the necessity of first consulting its owner.
