For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. As defined in I.C. 14-16-1-1.5, this term has the meaning set forth in I.C. 7.1-1-3-5.
OPERATE. As defined in I.C. 14-16-1-4, this term means to ride in or on and be in actual physical control of the operation of a vehicle.
OPERATOR. As defined in I.C. 14-16-1-5, this term means an individual who operates or is in actual physical control of an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
OWNER. As defined in I.C. 14-16-1-6, this term means a person, other than a lienholder, who has the property in or title to and is entitled to the use or possession of an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
VEHICLE. As defined in I.C. 14-16-1-7, this term means an off-road vehicle or a snowmobile.
(1) OFF-ROAD VEHICLE. Precisely defined in I.C. 14-8-2-185;
(2) For purposes of this subchapter and all related ordinances that have not been repealed, the term VEHICLE includes and may be used interchangeably with NON-TRADITIONAL VEHICLE.
