§ 30.031 COUNCIL MEETINGS.
   (A)   Meeting time. Effective January 1, 2012, the regular meeting date and time for the Common Council shall be 5:45 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month unless otherwise specified.
   (B)   Adjournment. Any regular meeting of the Council may be adjourned to a future day or hour. At such adjourned meeting, it shall be lawful to transact any business which might have been transacted at the regular meeting of which it is a continuation, and at an adjourned meeting, the Council will not be limited to complete particular items of business which have been entered upon and left unfinished at the regular meeting unless the order of adjournment of the regular meeting so limits the work of the adjourned meeting.
   (C)   Special meetings. Special meetings of the Council shall be held on the call of the Mayor or on the call of not less than a majority of all members elect of the Council. Written notice shall be served upon the members of the Council by the Chief of Police or Assistant Chief of Police.
   (D)   Notice of meeting. The Clerk-Treasurer shall place in the record of any special meeting of the Council a copy of the required notice calling the meeting together with a statement by the Chief of Police that the notices have been served upon the members of the Council.
   (E)   Public. All meetings of the Council shall be public.
