(A) Inspection fees. There is hereby established a fee based on current state-approved amounts and/or as set by City Council from time to time for each inspection by a regular member of the Police Department of any motor vehicle, semi-trailer, or recreational vehicle.

(B) Deposit of funds. The revenue from the inspection fee shall be deposited in a Local Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund as set forth in Pub. Law No. 48, being I.C. 5-2-8-6.

(C) Appropriations. Said funds must be appropriated by the Common Council for the money collected from the inspections for law enforcement purposes only.
