§ 35.02 MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR.
   (A)   The position of Maintenance Supervisor is hereby created.
   (B)   The Maintenance Supervisor shall be appointed by the Mayor with approval of City Council.
   (C)   The Maintenance Supervisor shall have supervision over all maintenance activities and maintenance personnel of the city subject to the authority of the Mayor and the Sanitation and Public Works Administrator.
   (D)   Compensation for the Maintenance Supervisor shall be twenty thousand five hundred forty dollars ($20,540.00) per year.
   (E)   The Maintenance Supervisor acting under the direction of the Sanitation and Public Works Administrator, shall be responsible for scheduling of all maintenance of, and the maintenance of all city streets, city buildings, and all other city equipment and facilities, with the exception of all police motor vehicles and police equipment, which shall be maintained under the supervision of the Police Chief. The Maintenance Supervisor shall be responsible for ordering and purchasing all parts and materials necessary to perform required maintenance duties as authorized by the budget of the city or by direction of the Sanitation and Public Works Administrator, except for the purchase of all parts and materials necessary for maintenance of police motor vehicles and police equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor shall report to and answer to the Sanitation and Public Works Administrator, who shall then inform City Council.
