§ 90.27 REPLACEMENT OF SIDEWALKS BY OWNERS.
   (A)   The Town Council recognizes the fact that some property owners may want to replace sidewalks on their own property. The Town Manager is authorized to inspect, determine the condition of existing sidewalk and need for replacement. If determined eligible, the town will notify the property owner and request they obtain an estimate on concrete cost to complete the replacement work. The town will not reimburse the owner for his or her labor in replacing the sidewalk. If estimated cost is acceptable to the Town Manager, and money to fund the project is appropriated, notice to proceed will be given to the property owner.
   (B)   Upon completion of work by the property owner and acceptance of work by the Town Manager, the property owner shall submit receipts for concrete to the Clerk-Treasurer. Within 30 days from the date of receiving acceptable receipts, the property owner is reimbursed for 50% of the total cost for concrete.
