The official uniform of the Fire Department will be described as follows:
(A) Class A consists of a double-breasted navy blue jacket with Fire Department buttons. The badge will be worn on the left breast and the name plate centered one inch below the badge. The U.S. flag will be worn on the right sleeve of the jacket. The Fire Department patch will be worn on the left sleeve. The shirt will be a white short-sleeved shirt. The U.S. flag will be worn on the right sleeve, and the Fire Department patch on the left sleeve. Officers will wear their ranking emblems on the collars and the firefighters will wear their A.F.D. emblems on the collars. Members will wear a navy blue tie. The pants will be of navy blue color and worn with a black belt. Socks will be of navy or black color. Shoes will be black dress shoes. The Department will provide a hat, which will be of navy blue color with a badge. The officers will have a gold band or snake on their hats, and the firefighters will have silver.
(B) Class B will be as class A, with the exclusion of the jacket and hat. The shirt will have the badge on the left breast. The name plate will be worn on the right side above the pocket.
(C) Class C will be a shirt with the A.F.D. logo.
