The Office of Town Manager, upon the holder thereof executing or maintaining a bond in accordance with I.C. 36-5-5-5 and I.C. 5-4-1, is authorized to assume the duties specifically set forth herein, or as from time to time established by Town Councils of Albion or Avilla, and with respect to his or her duties shall have authority as set forth in I.C. 36-5-5-8 as needed to carry out these duties.

The Joint Town Manager was changed with a 2002 contract. Albion and Avilla each hired a full time manager and continue to have two separate full time managers.
