§ 91.18 ENFORCEMENT.
   The Chief of Police or his or her designee is hereby authorized to issue a written demand to the owner, occupant, agent, or person in possession of the premises on which any nuisance condition is found, notifying the person to remove this condition from the premises within ten days after receipt of the notice. If the owners and/or possessors fail to abate the condition, then the town may correct the condition, and the expenses thereof (including attorney fees, court costs, and other associated costs of litigation) shall be billed to the owners and/or possessors, jointly and severally, with the expenses to be recoverable as a lien, and/or in a suit at law, at the option of the town.
