§ 35.066 GENETIC INFORMATION NONDISCRIMINATION ACT (GINA).
   (A)   The town follows all federal and state laws with regards to the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). The town may not use genetic information or genetic testing in furtherance of a workplace wellness program unless certain requirements are met. The town is not prohibited from requesting or requiring genetic information for genetic monitoring of the biological effects of toxic substances in the workplace if certain requirements are met. The town will treat genetic testing information consistent with the requirements of all other federal and state laws.
   (B)   Employees may contact the Clerk-Treasurer’s office for additional information regarding GINA.
