§ 73.99 PENALTY.
   Operation of a golf cart, or off-road vehicle on a highway, street, road or alleyway under the jurisdiction of the town in a manner that violates the traffic rules and regulations adopted by the State of Indiana, or the town may be cited on a Uniform Traffic Ticket as a state infraction, or a municipal ordinance violation as applicable. Anyone violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of $100 for a first violation, $150 for a second violation and $200 for a third violation. Each offense is also subject to additional costs incurred for court costs, and attorney fees incurred by the town for prosecuting the violation. If a person is cited for a violation of this chapter more than three times, the violator is subject to having their golf cart, or off-road vehicle in-town driving privileges revoked, and shall no longer be allowed to operate in the limits of the town.
