The international fire code shall be enforced by the bureau of fire prevention which is hereby established in the fire department of the city and which shall be operated under the supervision of the chief of the fire department for the city. Said chief shall be in charge of the bureau of fire prevention until such time as the city council shall deem it advisable and shall appoint a separate chief in charge of the bureau of fire prevention. The chief of the Albertville fire department may detail such members of the fire department as inspectors as shall from time to time be necessary. (Ord. 2000-12, 9-5-2000; amd. 2005 Code)
