6-1-5: STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES:
The Department shall adopt Standard Operating Policies and Procedures at the direction of the Board of Officers, subject to the confirmation of the City Council. The Standard Operating Policies and Procedures shall be consistent with this chapter and all other present or subsequent City ordinances. If the Department’s Standard Operating Policies and Procedures conflict with a City ordinance, the City ordinance shall prevail.
