ORDINANCE NO. 2022-01

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 5, SECTION 1 OF THE ALBERTVILLE CITY CODE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF THE CITY OF ALBERTVILLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2023

The City Council of the City of Albertville, Minnesota hereby ordains:

Section 1. Title 1, Chapter 5 Section 1 of the Albertville City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

1-5-1: COMPENSATION:

Effective January 1, 2023, compensation of the mayor shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) per month, and compensation for each council member shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month. Said salaries include attendance at any and all meetings of the council, its boards, commissions, committees, and intergovernmental assignments.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and publication as required by law.
