(A) EEO. Equal opportunity employment shall be afforded by all operators of cable television systems to all qualified persons, and no person shall be discriminated against in employment because of race, color, religion, age, national origin, sex, or handicap. The grantee shall comply with all equal opportunity provisions enacted by federal, state and local authorities, and in particular § 634 of the Communications Act (47 U.S.C. 554), as well as all such provisions contained in this chapter and the franchise.
(B) Local Employment and Procurement Practices. Whenever reasonably possible, all services, personnel, hardware and supplies for the construction, maintenance and operation of the system shall be procured locally.
