§ 21.061 MEMBERSHIP AND VACANCIES.
   The Housing Advisory Board shall consist of nine members, three of whom shall be Public Housing residents, two of whom shall be Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment participants, and four of whom shall be at-large residents of the city. Members of the Board shall be appointed by the Council for overlapping terms of three years. The Council shall in August 1990 organize the Board and designate by motion the members and their respective terms so that three members shall be appointed for a three-year term, three members shall be appointed for a two-year term, and three members shall be appointed to serve until July 31, 1991. Thereafter each year in July, the proper number of Board members shall be appointed or reappointed for three years. Housing Advisory Board members may be reappointed for successive terms, but in no case shall a member be reappointed to serve more than a total of nine years, including any partial terms served for a previous member. Any vacancy in the membership shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as the initial appointment. Members shall serve without pay but may be reimbursed for any expenses incurred while representing the Board.
