The contractor shall hold harmless from and indemnify the town against all claims, suits, actions, costs, counsel fees, expenses, damages, judgments or decrees by reason of any person or persons or property being damaged or injured by the contractor or any of his or her subcontractors, or any person employed under the contractor, or under any of his or her subcontractors, or in any capacity during the progress of the services defined herein.
