(A) Electronic funds transfers (EFT), including online transfers. The Common Council of the town hereby authorizes the use of online transfers for the purpose of transferring funds as Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT).
(B) Automatic Clearing House (ACH) transactions. The Common Council of the town hereby authorizes the Clerk-Treasurer to utilize Automatic Clearing House (ACH) transactions including payments for payroll, retirement benefits, utilities, taxes, bonds and payments for any other municipal expense, in the discretion of the Clerk-Treasurer. The Council does further hereby authorize the receipt of funds by the town pursuant to Automatic Clearing House (ACH).
(C) Documentation. The Clerk-Treasurer shall be required to maintain adequate and appropriate documentation of the above-referenced transactions for future audits, as provided by the laws of the state.
