(A) Employees eligible for overtime may either be paid or receive comp time for any week in which they are required to work over 40 hours (see § 34.07). The determination is to be made between the supervisor and the employee.
(B) Overtime is to be authorized by the supervisor.
(C) Holiday or vacation pay along with hours worked will not result in overtime pay unless the employee actually worked more that 40 hours.
(D) Employees called in to work on an emergency while on a vacation day will receive time and a half. This would only apply up to 4:00 p.m. The vacation day may be used at a later date if desired or paid along with the overtime wages.
