A person, firm or corporation occupying real estate within the corporate boundaries of the town whose real estate is zoned as Rural District under the zoning regulations of the town shall have the ability to keep or harbor livestock or poultry on such property. A person, firm or corporation occupying real estate within the corporate boundaries of the town who currently keeps or harbors livestock or poultry on such property shall have the ability to continue to keep and harbor the livestock or poultry on such property and whoever occupies the real estate in the future shall have the ability to keep and harbor livestock or poultry on such property.
