(A) All persons within the boundaries of the town are required to license and tag the cats they own.
(B) All persons who own cats are required to purchase a tag from the Clerk-Treasurer.
(C) The fee schedule for the tags is as follows:
(1) The cost for all spayed and/or neutered cats is in the sum of $2; and
(2) The cost for all unspayed or unneutered cats is in the sum of $3.
(D) A violation of this section may result in the following penalties:
(1) The untagged cats will be impounded by the officer who enforces all animal control regulations for the town;
(2) A fine in the sum of $10 per cat, court costs and attorney fees if collection is necessary; and
(3) All costs associated with housing the cats.
