SCHEDULE IV. OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
   (A)   No motor vehicle shall be driven or operated on the streets within the town at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour, except upon Indiana State Highways No. 28, 67 and 167, wherein the speed limit shall be that posted at the time by the State Highway Commission of the state.
   (B)   The provisions of division (A) of this schedule shall not apply to the operation of any emergency vehicle while the same is being driven and operated upon an emergency mission and the driver is sounding a siren, bell or exhaust whistle, as may be reasonably necessary, and the vehicle displays a lighted red lamp visible from the front, as a warning to others.
   (C)   The driver of a motor vehicle emerging from an alley, driveway or building shall stop such vehicle prior to entering onto a sidewalk or onto the sidewalk area extending across an alleyway, yielding the right-of-way to any pedestrian as may be necessary to avoid collision, and upon entering the roadway, shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles approaching on such roadway.
   (D)   The driver of a motor vehicle shall not drive within any sidewalk area, except at a permanent or temporary driveway.
   (E)   No motor vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of a fire department, when laid down on any street or private driveway for use at any fire or alarm of fire without the consent of the fire department official in command.
   (F)   No person shall stand or park a motor vehicle in a roadway, other than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement, and with the right hand wheels of the vehicle within 12 inches of the curb or edge of the roadway.
   (G)   No person shall stop, stand or park a motor vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or in compliance with the law, or in direction of a police officer, in any of the following places:
      (1)   On a sidewalk;
      (2)   In front of a public or private driveway;
      (3)   Within an intersection;
       (4)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
      (5)   On a crosswalk;
      (6)   Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance of any fire station and on the sides of the street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of such entrance, when properly signposted;
      (7)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of the street.
