(A) It shall be unlawful to operate, or to cause to be operated, any semi-tractor or semi-tractor and trailer on the following streets and roads within the town:
(1) North Gray Street;
(2) South Gray Street;
(3) South Washington Street;
(4) North Water Street, between Highway 28 and Highway 67;
(5) State Street;
(6) Main Street;
(7) Plum Street; and
(8) North Delaware Street.
(B) The provisions of this section shall not apply to machinery or equipment used in street construction or maintenance.
(C) The public officials of the town shall erect and maintain signs designating the provisions of this section, at each end of the street affected thereby. This section shall not be effective until the signs are erected and maintained.
