(A) Any areas of land within the proposed subdivision which lie either wholly or in part within the floodplain of a river, stream, creek, or lake, or any other areas which are subject to flooding or inundation by stormwater or have inadequate drainage, shall not be platted for any use as may increase danger to health, life, or property.
(B) Any part of the property determined to be wetlands may not be included as a building site unless proper approvals are granted by the State Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
(C) If the Village Council determines that a flood problem or wetland does exist, then it shall reject all or that part of the proposed subdivision lying within the floodplain or wetland.
