§ 131.01 CURFEW.
   (A)   It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person under the full age of 17 years to be and/or remain upon any of the public streets, alleys, parks, and other public grounds within the village, between the hours of 10:30 p.m. in the afternoon and 6:00 a.m. of the following forenoon, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or while returning from some school function or while in the discharge of an errand under the direction of his or her parent, parents, or legal guardian.
   (B)   Any child who shall violate this section may be deemed a delinquent child and be punishable as such delinquent child in the County Probate Court.
   (C)   Any person who shall willfully or knowingly permit any child, of whom they are the parent, parents, or legal guardian, to violate this section shall be guilty of contributing to the delinquency of a minor child.
   (D)   It shall not be necessary that said child violating the provisions of this section be adjudged a delinquent child before prosecution of said parent, parents, or legal guardian be instituted and trial had, and the parent, parents, or legal guardian’s guilt or innocence adjudicated.
