§ 114.02 ITINERANT MERCHANT'S LICENSE REQUIRED; APPLICATION PROCEDURE.
   (A)   Except as provided by § 114.05, no person may act as an itinerant merchant within the town without first obtaining a license from the town. The license shall be in addition to any county license which the person may have obtained under the provisions of I.C. 25-37-1. To obtain a license, written application must be made to the Clerk-Treasurer, providing the following information:
      (1)   The name and permanent address of the applicant;
      (2)   The name and business address of any person, company or corporation whom the applicant represents or serves as agent;
      (3)   The kind of merchandise to be sold by the applicant;
      (4)   The date or dates when the licensed activity will be conducted; and
      (5)   The manner of conducting the activity (for example, door-to-door, temporary sales room or lot and the like).
   (B)   The Clerk-Treasurer may demand reasonable identification of the applicant and other confirmation of information on the application.
