Every junk dealer or salvage yard shall keep at its place of business, if the same is in the Town of Akron, a substantial and well bound book, in which shall be entered in writing, in ink, a minute description of all junk or articles to be salvaged, the date on which it was purchased and particularly mentioning any prominent or descriptive marks that may be on the articles, together with the name and residence of the person or persons by whom sold or delivered, which book shall be kept clean and legible, and no entry thereon shall be obliterated or defaced.
