For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
JUNK DEALER. Any person, firm or corporation which keeps a place of business for the purpose of purchase or sale of junk, old metal, rags, old rope, old canvas, old paper or the like.
SALVAGE YARD. Any place of business which purchases or receives in any manner wrecked or obsolete equipment, automotive vehicles, machinery or like scrap for the purpose of dismantling the same and salvaging therefrom the parts that may be of value either for re-use or for sale as junk.
