SCHEDULE I. PREFERENTIAL STREETS AND CONTROLLED STOP STREETS DESIGNATED.
   When signs are erected giving notice there of, it shall be unlawful for any person operating a motor vehicle, a bicycle or motorized bicycle or an animal-drawn vehicle to enter upon, cross or turn into a preferential street as designated in the following table from a stop street, without bringing the vehicle to a stop before reaching such intersection and waiting until the intersection is clear and free of vehicular traffic on the preferential street.
