§ 71.17 APPLICABILITY OF STATUTORY PRESUMPTIVE SPEED LIMIT IN ABSENCE OF POSTED LIMITS.
   Except when a special hazard exists that requires lower speed for compliance with § 71.15, the state presumptive urban speed limit of 30 miles per hour as established by I.C. 9-21-5-2 shall apply and shall be enforced on the streets of the town; also the state presumptive alley speed limit of 15 miles per hour as established by I.C. 9-21-5-5 shall apply and shall be enforced on the alleys of the town. Violations of state code shall be cited as state code violations.
