§ 70.25 TOWING OF UNATTENDED OR DISABLED VEHICLES IN VIOLATION OF TOWN OR STATE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
   (A)   If any vehicle is found by an enforcement officer to be in violation of a town or state traffic regulation and the vehicle is not attended by a driver or is disabled so that the driver is unable to remove it under its own power, and:
      (1)   The area is specifically marked as a tow-in zone by signs; or
      (2)   In the opinion of the enforcement officer, leaving the vehicle where it is would cause a significant hazard, obstruction or inconvenience to the public or the owners of adjoining property;
   (B)   The officer is authorized to impound the offending vehicle and cause same to be towed away and stored at the owner's expense.
