§ 70.04 TRAFFIC REGULATIONS AFFECTING PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES TO BE ADOPTED ONLY BY ORDINANCE.
   Pursuant to I.C. 9-21-1-2, no town traffic regulation applying under § 70.02 shall be imposed or enforced, nor any sign or marking indicating any such regulation erected and maintained, except as specified in ordinances duly adopted and promulgated by the Town Council. However, this section does not affect the enforcement or erection of appurtenant signs respecting traffic regulations imposed by statute as they apply to public ways under town jurisdiction, nor the regulation of private entrances to town streets as provided and imposed pursuant to § 70.06.
