§ 31.19 SIZE AND SPACING.
   (A)   Minimum size for small trees at planting is one and one-half inches in diameter (measured at six inches from the ground), for medium and large trees two inches in diameter (measured at six inches from the ground). Any variance of this requirement requires prior approval by the Tree Commission and/ or Town Council.
   (B)   The spacing of street trees will be in accordance with the three species size classes listed in § 31.18, and no trees may be planted closer together than the following: small trees, 15 feet; medium trees, 25 feet; large trees, 35-40 feet; except in special plantings designed by a landscape architect and approved by the Tree Commission and/or the Town Council.
   (C)   The distance trees may be planted from curbs or curb lines and sidewalks will be in accordance with the three species size classes listed in § 31.18.
   (D)   No street tree shall be planted closer than 25 feet of any street corner, measured from the point of the nearest curb or curb line.
   (E)   No street tree shall be planted closer than ten feet of any fireplug.
