§ 34.030 EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION.
   (A)   It is the policy of the town to ensure that all new employees are adequately orientated to town operations and personnel policies. Each new employee will receive an orientation packet containing information about the town, its personnel policies, the Family Medical Leave Act and the benefits for which the employee is eligible.
   (B)   After receiving a copy of this chapter, an opportunity to read it, and an opportunity to ask questions about them, each new regular employee shall be required to sign an “Acknowledgment of Receipt of Policies and Procedures Handbook”. The acknowledgment will be retained in the employee’s personnel file.
