(A) The town recognizes the need for providing paid vacation leave for its employees. The full-time employees shall receive vacation days based on their years of employment as follows:

(B) The employee shall give the Clerk-Treasurer at least ten working days’ notice of intent to take a vacation. Vacation time will not accumulate from year to year.
(C) Upon termination, full-time employees will not be compensated for earned vacation time. Vacation pay will be made on the same day as regular pay, but may be made in advance of any vacation taken. Employees may choose to continue working and take pay in lieu of time off. A minimum of one- half vacation time earned must be taken off per year.
(D) Part-time employees shall be granted vacation time based upon employment longevity as follows:
