§ 154.04 ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY.
Recognizance is hereby given to the state-wide policy heretofore proclaimed by the General Assembly of the state in state law, to-wit: to recognize the mobile home as a suitable and necessary dwelling unit in the state. In accordance therewith, it shall be the policy of the town to administer the provisions, rules, restrictions and requirements as set forth in this chapter or adopted hereunder in a fair and equitable manner so as not to deny reasonable access to lands and living space within the town for persons wishing to establish and occupy mobile homes to the extent that the same would not be, by reasonable standards, injurious to or inconsistent with the orderly development of the town and surrounding area nor the preservation of property values and the overall health, safety, convenience and welfare of the community.
