§ 91.99 PENALTY.
   Any person who causes or permits any public nuisance, as defined in § 91.01 of this chapter, and who fails to abate or cease same when duly ordered or notified to do so within any applicable time period for compliance as herein provided, commits a penal violation of this chapter and, upon conviction, shall be fined in the amount as shall be set by the Town Council from time to time for each offense, and each day that a violation constitutes a separate offense if not otherwise compromising a separate and distinct act and violation. The penalties provided by this section are in addition to any liability for abatement costs, damages or other costs arising out of the unlawful maintenance or abatement of a public nuisance.
