(A) The town is committed to providing meaningful access to its programs and services to persons who, as a result of their national origin, are limited in English proficiency. It is our policy to ensure no person is subjected to prohibited discrimination based on national origin in any program receiving federal financial assistance from USDA Rural Development (RD).
(B) Outlined herein are procedures for the town’s Limited English Proficiency Language Access Plan (LAP) to ensure that persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) have meaningful access to programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance from the USDA/Rural Development (USDA/RD). This LAP applies to all programs and activities of the town receiving federal financial assistance from the USDA/Rural Development.
