(A) Regular full-time and regular part-time employees shall be entitled to annual vacation leave with pay according to the following schedule. Once employees enter an eligible employment classification, they begin to earn paid vacation time based on their length of service for the upcoming anniversary year, as outlined in the schedule below.

1 - 5 years | 10 days |
5 - 10 years | 15 days |
10 - 15 years | 20 days |
Over 15 years | 25 days |
(B) Employees are encouraged and expected to use provided vacation time.
(C) Employees shall give complete a vacation request form and submit it to the Clerk-Treasurer at least ten working days prior to the time of their scheduled vacation. An employee may take any portion or all of his or her allowed vacation up to a maximum of two weeks during the calendar year.
(D) No unused vacation balance will be carried forward to the next anniversary year without Town Council approval. The employee may be able to redeem up to 50% of his or her earned vacation per year.
(E) A part-time employee shall be granted vacation time based on his or her length of service for the upcoming anniversary year and the schedule below.

(F) Regular full-time and regular part-time employees who leave their employment on a voluntary basis will be paid for all unused vacation time upon termination of employment. If the employee has taken less than the vacation time he or she has earned, payment will be made for the balance of earned, but unused, vacation.
