1.25.010 Findings and Purpose.
   A.   The City Council finds that there are instances when members of the public or groups, disrupt or otherwise violate the limits of permissible conduct during public meetings, in such a way that it makes the conduct of the public’s business difficult or impossible, where decorum is difficult to maintain, and/or where the safety and well being of the public and/or the Council, Commission, Board or Committee members may be jeopardized.
   B.   This Chapter is adopted in order to provide a procedure by which the City Council or City Commissions, Boards or Committees may handle situations in which individual members of the public or group(s) violate the limits of permissible conduct during public meetings, and in which the assistance of law enforcement personnel is required.
