A. Compiling and Filing. The City Engineer is authorized and directed to compile a map or series of maps of the City, showing the official number of each such building, lot, parcel or other holding and the same is designated and entitled "street numbering map" and such map or series of maps shall be kept on file as public record in the offices of the City.
B. Approval by City Council. The street numbering system and “street numbering map” shall not be effective and applicable until approved by the City Council by resolution. Said street numbering system and street numbering map shall not be changed or modified by the City Engineer prior to the approval thereof by the City Council resolution.
