10.32.090 Bicycle Traffic Laws.
All laws to the provisions of the California Vehicle Code shall apply to the operation of a bicycle, and any violations of said laws are punishable as described in that Code. No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within any business district, or on the sidewalk within any business district, or on the sidewalk adjacent to any public school building, church, recreation center, playground or over any pedestrian over crossing, or within any crosswalk. Whenever a person is riding a bicycle on a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian; and when overtaking and passing a pedestrian, shall give an audible signal. A person riding a bicycle off a sidewalk and onto the roadway shall yield to all traffic on the roadway.
