The fees required to be paid pursuant to this Chapter are as follows:
A. For a new license and registration, the sum of six dollars ($6.00) is required.
B. For each transfer of ownership which requires a new registration card, the sum of one dollar ($1.00) is required for each full year or pro rata share of any one (1) year remaining on the original registration certificate or license.
C. For replacement of a bicycle registration card or license tag lost, stolen, destroyed, mutilated or illegible, the sum of one dollar ($1.00) is required for each full year or pro rata share of any one (1) year remaining on the original registration certificate or license.
D. For release of an impounded bicycle, the sum of ten dollars ($10.00) is required.
Revenues from fees collected shall be retained by the licensing City and shall be used to meet costs and to improve bicycle safety programs within the limits of the jurisdiction.
