A. The City Council has determined that it is necessary to recover costs of City employees’ time when used by the City’s Building Official in such a manner as necessary to carry out the functions of the Code Enforcement Agency.
B. When it is necessary that such inspections be carried out in order to preserve the health and safety of those residents residing within the community that may be impacted.
C. That following an initial inspection and reinspection for compliance, all further inspection costs shall be recovered on behalf of the City.
D. The City Council determines that these added costs should not be the responsibility of the resident taxpayers of the City of Adelanto.
E. No charge or fee established by this Chapter exceeds the estimated amount required to provide the service for which the fee or service charge is levied.
