A. All permits shall expire one (1) year from the date they are issued.
B. Applications for renewal of a permit shall be made thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date of the permit in accordance with the applicable application procedures set forth in this Chapter.
C. The applicant shall pay a renewal application deposit fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) at the time of filing a renewal application in addition to any necessary background investigation costs of the police department. Multiple permits held by a single individual can be renewed for a single application deposit fee. If additional funds are necessary to cover the above costs, the applicant shall pay such additional costs to the Community Development Department before further processing of the renewal application may proceed. Any unused portion of the deposit shall be refunded to the applicant.
