A. No business license required under this Title shall knowingly be issued to any person for the conduct of any business, profession or trade in which the laws of the State or the Federal government require a license, certificate or permit from the State or Federal government for the conduct of such business, trade or profession, unless such person shows satisfactory credentials exhibiting compliance with the laws of the State or Federal government.
B. No business license issued under the provisions of this Title shall be construed as authorizing the conduct of or continuance of any illegal or unlawful business or practice, or the furnishing, sale, or providing of any service, good or product that is illegal under this Code, the laws of the State of California, or the laws of the United States of America.
