Pursuant to I.C. 11-12-1-3, and to provide necessary funding for the establishment, operation, payroll, expenses, and coordination of the community corrections program, the county may use appropriated funds, user fee revenues, unexpended funds, appropriate tax funds, accept gifts, grants, and subsidies from any lawful source, and apply for and accept federal funds. Further, all existing funds held in the current House Arrest Fund shall be transferred and combined with a single fund to be known as the County Community Corrections/Home Detention Fund which will now administer all home detentions and any other activities associated or authorized for community corrections under I.C. 11-12-1-1.
