§ 150.20 DISPLAY OF NUMBER.
   The occupant of each parcel or lot currently used as a residence or business shall prominently display the rural number assigned to said location in such a manner so that said number is easily observable and readable from the public road, street, or highway upon which such location is situated. While the location, type of numbering, type of background, size of numbering, and location of the number shall be totally within the discretion of the occupant of said residence or business, to maximize the effectiveness and to ensure prompt response in the event of emergency, it is recommended that said number be staked at or nearest the edge of the road, beside the driveway entrance, on the same side of the road where the residence or building is located, that the lettering be black on a white illumines background, with the numbers placed in a vertical configuration using numbers and letters at least three inches in height.
